This portion of the shank here will slide into your vehicle's 2 inch hitch receiver opening, and right up here provides the attachment point for your lunette ring coupler. The shank here is going to slide into your 2" X 2" receiver tube on your hitch, and this is going to provide a mounting point for your Curt SecureLatch pintle hook and combo hitches, specifically the part numbers that you see on the screen there.Now, keep in mind this spacing of our slots here is right about 3-3/8 of an inch, which is pretty common for most of your bolt-on pintle hooks, so you should be able to use other accessories as well, not just the Curt ones, but this is specifically designed for those, so should give you a lot of variety, lots of options there. If you already have a pintal hook that bolts on in place, this should work for you.It does have the slotted mounting plate, which is going to allow us to easily adjust the height to match our trailer height. So if we're using multiple trailers, we can easily switch between them and adjust to the height that we need. more

Today we're going to take a look at the B&W Tow & Stow Pintle Hook and Hitch Ball Combo, with a two and five sixteenths diameter ball and this is for two and a half inch hitches. Now this is a pintle hook and hitch ball combo that lets you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. The shank right here, this is what'll slide into the two and a half inch by two and a half inch trailer hitch receiver. And if you notice on the shank they've actually chamfered, or rounded off the edges to make it a lot easier fit to slide in and out of your hitch receiver. On the front is your pintle hook, which will connect to your lunette ring couplers. Basically the way you'll connect it is you just pull this clip, slide the pin out, raise on the pintle lock here at the top, and then you could drop your lunette ring, which will drop on over the ball. more

Now this is going to work out well for those situations where you need to tow a trailer with a lunette ring on the front, so any agricultural, construction kind of application. Have this keeper pin up at the top to keep our pintle hook closed. We pull back on that, we can open it up, and then get attached to our trailer.This is made of a strong drop forged construction, so it'll be very durable, has a nice thick corrosion resistant black powder coating.
